Rebekah Jordan is originally from Northwest Georgia. She joined the U.S. Navy after graduating from Kennesaw State University. Her first duty station was at National Naval Medical Center on a trauma medical surgical ward where she cared for injured Marines, Sailors and Soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. This was her first experience caring for Traumatic Brain Injury patients. Next, she deployed on a Humanitarian Mission to Central and South America. After deployment, she worked in the Emergency Department before transferring to Naval Health Clinic Quantico. At Quantico she was a department head for a large deployment processing center. During her time at Quantico, she started her graduate work at Duke University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. After graduating with honors, she worked at Virginia Hospital Center in their wound care program and at National Institute of Health. In January of 2013, she joined INOVA’s Head 2 Head Concussion Program. Her husband, son, daughter and she reside in Leesburg.
